  4. I guess you're just going to have a get a copy and give it a listen. Not only did Gene Ludwig get the call to do the date, he did a darn fine job! This is actually Gene's second organ date for Bob Porter and Rudy Van Gelder. The material is really well done. Pattye Ludwig I have no doubt he did an excellent job. I said he was the unlikely part of the recording because I am unaware that he has played or recorded with Scott or Duke. Indeed. And, if this is a Bob Porter production, I'm putting myself down for my first Scott Hamilton album. MG
  5. Ghanaian Hiplife artists are sampling US HipHop records, and have been doing so for several years - the oldest HipLife CD I have is from 1999, but it was by no means the start of the movement. There are no credits on the CDs. But some of it is bloody wonderful! MG

  13. So's Bill, isn't he? You must have picked up a bit of Wurzel, is what I say. MG You mean these guys? Hmmm... Ah well, now Bill's confessed to being not north English (though what his combination sounds like I couldn't say), I see that my accusation was entirely unjustified MG

  15. So's Bill, isn't he? You must have picked up a bit of Wurzel, is what I say. MG Sorry to disappoint - but I have no more Northern accent than you have Welsh, MG. So, back to the drawing board, language analysts! So what's your accent Bill? MG
  16. I didn't know there was a place in England called "Crackpot" - though I'm not surprised. You could always head for this town, on Ynys Mon MG

  18. Yeah, but it's still not OK to swizzle someone out of their legal dues. That's happened to enough musicians already. So I hope she's successful, too. MG
  19. You're only young, Dan. Just think what you've got to look forward to MG
