  1. Thanks for the details, Niko! Looks splendid!
  2. Yep, enjoying it a lot, Jeff!
  3. Happy Birthday, Claude!
  4. Yes, they are a Portuguese label after all I thought it was a US label, had no idea!
  5. Got a confirmation (two in fact) - seems the package is on its way by now! (And from Portugal, too? Had no idea!)
  6. Buck Hill!? Very cool! Will get me a CD, for sure, thanks!
  7. Funnily I just ordered one today (Koch I think, new copy in stock with some marketplace vendor).
  8. Ha!
  9. Yeah, but I got no confirmation yet (other than the automated Paypal one). That's the only thing that might start worrying me in a couple of days. Shipping will take as long as it will...
  10. So you do have me worrying... But then I ordered on weekend an it's only monday morning in the US, so I'll just wait and see.
  11. same second notification from paypal, nothing else... ordered on March 31 (afternoon yurpeen time, morning us time): Rob Brown Trio - Sounds Charles Rumback Quartet - Two Kinds of Art Thieves Roswell Rudd/Mark Dresser - Airwalkers Whit Dickey - Sacred Ground Michael Blake Trio - Right before your very ears Gerry Hemingway - The Whimbler Whit Dickey - In a Heartbeat

    but.... they're all grey!
  13. Luckily that one (or portions of it) was preserved, too! Great concert - wish I had such memories!
  14. They were taped in Berlin (Nov. 4) with Kenny Drew on piano (as well as Jimmy Woode and Keith Killgo).
  15. Thanks, interesting read! Great having a new disc to look forward to!
  16. Sheep and Booby really ought to do a duo rekkid! Too bad Booger's dead or else he ought to have joined!
  17. Me, too! And I want that second copy of Ramifications NOW
  18. Jim, I think it was mentioned somewhere that this version of the Rockland material was corrected: Complete Legendary Rockland Palace Dance Date 1952 (Jazz Classics Records CD-JZCL-5014, rel. 1996) On the back of the tray, it claims: "ALL performances are here with CORRECTLY issued for the ffirst time, running at proper pitch & correct key." Liners are by Doug Pomeroy (and I here with testify having bought it from amazon.com on February 1, 2004). Btw, to me, it's mainly the non-Bird material that makes this box such an attractive offer. I've not yet entered the zone where I can identify Bird boots and say "I've got that date on this release" and am far from having sorted all of it out (and even farther from actually knowing for real all the live Bird I've got on various releases).
  19. 15$ and DL only? Too bad, I'd sure love a real CD... again: who's playing besides Warren?
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. Or a good Uptown, maybe? Indeed! And more likely/fitting, too... but not sure it would all fit onto 2CDs.
  22. Okay, let's play then... hope everyone could handle the DL - drop me a PM if you still want to join in or if you've got any problems! Hope you'll enjoy the music, looking forward to your comments!
  23. "Stealin' Apples" is on the Dameron/Navarro 2CD set. What I'd love to see is a complete edition of all the Tadd airchecks, no matter if Fats on them or not! Would make a wonderful Mosaic Select, I bet...
  24. See #41 - not sure if the Collectables disc is that bad...
  25. Will share the link shortly... any additional takers?
