I respect you Jazz Kat for sticking up for your favorite band but you have to realize that there is the possibility not everyone shares your point of view on Spyrogyra or whatever band you like. If you really like a certain artist then like them and don't worry too much about anyone elses's opinion but on the other hand don't get so bent out of shape when someone expresses a viewpoint that is contrary to your own.

I saw him play on Dave Sanborn's show. I don't remember him sitting down while I he was playing guitar but I do remember him playing that guitar behind his back and with his feet and I thought that was fairly impressive. He's a good guitar player. I'll have to look into his jazz album. While I don't think he can do the same acrobatics with his trumpet,who knows,it might be worth checking out.

That's an interesting lineup. Off the track somewhat but one thing that cd universe does that drives me nuts is to describe the bass as a "bass Instrument".
