  1. Jazzmoose,Jazzmoose.
  2. It's a band I'm totally indifferent to even to this day. When I think of ELO music the word"Ponderous" comes to mind.
  3. Had fried chicken at the on special at the local supermarket. It seemed like a reasonably decadent thing to do but it was all gone by the time I got there. Oh well!that'll throw the food police off my trail for awhile!!!!
  4. 30 days of McDoanlds. Beyond gross. Even worse than Joe Bialek spam.
  5. Impossible my remarks were meant in a joking manner. My apologies I didn't mean to offend.
  6. Or RT and7/4 on a subpar day.
  7. Congratulations to Charlie and now the real adventure begins!!!!
  8. One of my heroes beyon the absolute shadow of a doubt. Miles Davis was not the first jazz artist that I listened to but "Bitches Brew" pointed me on the jazz road and though I have other musical interests I feel that I've never looked back after the day I heard "Bitches Brew". Miles will live forever in my heart.
  9. The BNBB is part of the dark distant past as far as I'm concerned. BNBB-"Let the door hit you where the dog bit you".
  10. Every year I read about this and it never fails to make me incredibly angry. If DA's had latitude to put murder one charges on the parents who do this it might make them more likely to stop and think about leaving their kids in a parked car with the windows rolled up on a warm or hot day. It is a heinous and criminally irresponsible thing to do.
  11. Chris, you don't have to wait for Olympics to come to Paris. And believe me, the city is much more fun without the chaos the Olympics are bound to generate! I'll keep that in mind Brownie.
  12. And haven't so many of us done a great job of exercising that privilege.
  13. Dr. Rat it's probably by necessity that she's upfront in the mix. No disrespect intended but she doesn't have the most powerful pipes in the world and if you put her further down in the mix you might not find her again.
  14. Or it could be mean alot of Downbeat subscription cancelations . Do you know how to say disgruntled jazz listeners-I knew you could.
  15. I guess it was just the law of diminishing returns or something like that. Perhaps they'll turn over the jam band mantle to another phishy group-Leftover Salmon!!!
  16. It's ok Moose,it's alright, now you just relax and don't you worry about a thing.
  17. Happy belated Birthday Use!!!! Your contributions are appreciated!!!!
  18. All of the above so my board brothers and sisters can sleep!!!
  19. Jazzmoose and RT. Seperated at birth? Twin sons of different mothers? Hmm?
  20. I went to AAJ and JazzCorner to see if I could find out what was up but found nothing which hardly surprised me. Glad to see your back up and everything is ok.
  21. Happy belated Birthday David!!!
  22. I remember those commercials and I remember Geoffrey in "Live and Let Die". I can see why you're neighbor rethought his approach Chris.
  23. Brownie don't be mad but I voted for Paris because I dearly would love to go there. However I can empathize with you to a small extent. Every 4th of July week and weekend a carnival comes to Pagosa and the sob is set up on the block where I live and on that week I am not a happy camper.
  24. I agree with what Chuck Nessa said. As far as I'm concerned the only things about Jackie McLean that interest me are (1) Does he play with great skill? (2)Does he play with feeling? (3)Do I like his playing? The general consenus to questions one and two on this board seem to be yes and the answer at this time to question three is inconclusive. While I think Jackie has a great deal of ability I have yet to warm to his playing but I've heard enough to make me keep trying to connect with Jackie. Any other issue regarding Jackie is not relevant to me personally but I guess at this point and time I'm outvoted on this thread.
  25. Electric blues,roots rock,zydeco/cajun,folk and some rock.
