We have some miserable little punks cruising through town blasting their car stereos but it usually doesn't last too long because the little weenies are usually cruising through but it is annoying.

In High School I was in with the out crowd. Probably just like a lot of people who post here I did things then that I wouldn't dream of doing now. All I can really say about it is I didn't die and I didn't get caught. I think I used up all of my good luck getting through those years. My grandmother used to tell me what a good boy I was and my standard reply was "don't lie!!!''. A friend of mine told me at least you didn't go to prison Chris. Maybe not but I avoided jail a couple of times only by sheer dumb luck. By comparison now I'm pretty boring. I lead a quiet life and as far as I know I'm not on any lawman's radar screen and that's alright with me. Chalk it up to the learning experience I guess.

There's a song by bluesman Mem Shannon called"SUV" that says it all for these swinishly oversized gas guzzling vehicles. Unfortunately the operators of these Hummers,SUV's and large pickup trucks often substitute their testosorone for brains.

Until Americans tire of driving gas guzzling cars,financing the lavish lifestyles of corrupt sheiks as well as Bush's campaign contributors I really dont see any change coming anytime soon. What's needed is to find practical ways other than gasoline to power those autos. The next war that Americans should fight is against the oil companies that hold us all hostage. If that doesn't happen then it is what is.

Knowledge like the universe is vast and there is a lot we don't know.Even with physics as it is known (and I admit I don't know doodley about it) I cant help but believe that interstellar travel is indeed possible. Just because we haven't mastered it doesn't mean it hasn't been mastered.
