6 years ago today (6 years?) my tearful wife came into the bathroom where I was taking a shower after a long day of working around the house to tell me my dad had passed suddenly. My dad and I were supposed to get together that day so he could teach me some piano repair techniques but I got caught up in cleaning out the garage. I called him a few hours before and told him I couldn't make it over. He said "That's ok Jimmy, we'll do it another day." And that was the last time I spoke to him....
