I like how it lists the city as Detroit, and then later says he was on US 127, 70 miles from Detroit (in other words, absolutely nowhere near Detroit). I guess Detroit is the only city people know in Michigan.

I did lose my custom molded plugs at the Detroit Jazz Fest last year (probably left them on the rental organ). I haven't replaced them yet, but I've been pining for them ever since. Just a matter of money (gotta stop buying crazy reel to reel tape machines!) EDIT: To add that when I went to the audiologist for my custom molds, I asked her about insurance coverage and she said that no health insurance plan covers hearing protection, even for jobs like factory workers, etc. As a musician and in light of the numbers in that article, that seems ludicrous.

I don't think this is true. Just look at rap. It's been around for almost 30 years now and has been mainstream for at least 20 years. And yet that's what young kids, black and white but especially black, tend to listen to.
