Actually, I seem to remember him asking me about it a year ago and I said I would do it but urged him to think it over since I've done this for people in the past and then they regret it. I guess he made his final decision.

I have no problem with deleting an account, but I think it is unfair to the community to ask that all posts be removed as well. I've deleted, by request, the accounts of other members before (one of which had a change of heart and wanted me to re-link all his old posts, which I have tried unsuccessfully to do), but the posts, imo, are part of the community.

Since Concord bought Fantasy, they now own the Stax name and have ressurrected it. Soulive's latest was the first release on it. I think it is safe to say there will be no Rufus.

Sam Yahel is great, but his playing is the anti-thesis to BJP, so it is unfair to compare the two.

Just saw this; I've been working on some other graphic stuff, but as soon as that is done I will design something for the live tracks. I also need to see if the board "tape" I got from the Detroit Jazz Festival this weekend is usable. If so, I'll probably put that one up on the website as well.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers are true, Bruce. But maybe I'm cynical. On a related note, has anyone actually gone to or been involved in a beauty contest before? That's a whole different and scary world, right there. I have a story about a girl in college that I was trying to get with who did one of the pre-Miss Michigan contests. Wow. That's a story for another time.

Might be worth saving until we have a new disc out, which will hopefully be around late spring of 2008.
