  1. Damn. You guys caught me. I still have the subscription.......... OH THE SHAME!!!!
  2. How can you miss it on the newstands at the grocery store?!? You see the chicks they put on the cover of that thing?! Good Lord! Of course, my older sister used to have a subscription to it when I was in my early teens. That made for some interesting reading, I can tell you that!
  3. I don't think we need a strategy to put them out of business. I think they'll do that themselves. I'm sure they lost a lot of customers to CDBaby when they created the new rules. I just want my money.
  4. Mnytime, you gotta stop reading Seventeen.
  5. From the fellow who hosts my site: So that should put an end to the website being down. I believe the time is fixed, right?
  6. Yeah you could say all that... or you could just say that they fired David Lee Roth, hired Sammy Hagar and they've sucked ever since. Isn't that easier?
  7. See that would've been the case had the guy just posted it and left it alone. But no, he comes in two minutes later under yet another alias and posts again and then posts several more times even referring to his other identity as "Chicken Shit". Like I said before... if you want to talk to yourself, fine, but don't do it here. I think it's crap and so I did something about it.
  8. Yeah, but this was a pretty wacky last name. Not something most people would make up. Not like Smith or Jones or anything. I wouldn't worry about it. Why would he waste his time here? That would be really stupid.
  9. DUDE, nobody say a word to him about what happened to Van Halen!
  10. This guy has a different last name... at least according to the email addressess he used... but you never know by those.
  11. Imagine what this dude will be thinking when he sees how far entertainment has come from 1984. Meaning TV, movies, VIDEO GAMES!!!! Man, back in 1984 the Atari 2600 and the Commodore 64 were the shit. And Ghostbusters and Return of the Jedi = the best visual effects. CRAZY!
  12. Actually, what is Tom's last name (the Tom from the Blue Note Board)?
  13. Well the kicker is that they changed a contract that I agreed to without asking my consent. Basically when I first signed up for the service we paid a one-time set-up fee of $35. That took care of them writing code for a shopping cart for us, setting up a page on their site, blah blah blah. Whatever. After that, they took 20% of every sale and in exchange we have the capability of taking credit card orders. Hoo-haa! And they were supposed to pay us at the end of every month for the CDs sold for that month. Well, as of mid-May I had only recieved one check from them for $40 even though we had sold well over $600 worth of merchandise. Keep in mind that in order to produce the CD, Randy, Joe and I paid out about $5,000 dollars of our own money and we're still paying off the studio and the CD duplicator even as I type this. So we haven't broken even yet. Then, they send me this email about the same time (mid-May) saying that their changing their pricing structure due to financial problems. Now, instead of just taking 20%, they are taking 25% and also charging a $12 per month service fee regardless of whether you sell CDs or not. Or, you can choose for them to take 35% of every sale and have no monthly fee. A big gigantic rip off and no one had any say. Plus, I learned from one of the over-seas members of this board that their shipping costs over seas were way out of line (very expensive). So after all this I immediately switched us over to CDBaby and they have been very very very very cool. I just got my first check from them, on time as promised. It also cost us nothing to switch over, since they were running a promotional deal when we signed up and they waived the $30 sign up fee. As it stands, CDStreet still owes us about $360 for our March sales and another $100 or so for June. I've been sending them angry emails with no reply. I'm going to start calling their asses everyday pretty soon. I would definately call for a boycott. This is some bullshit.
  14. Only $100k? WHATTA DEAL!!!! And here I was going to buy a house. Man, my wife is going to be so pleased when I buy this instead!
  15. That's crazy! I cannot imagine the hope of the family to even keep him there in the hospital for that long. I think most people would've just given up and pulled the plug. Amazing.
  16. It was not me. I barely have the time to log on as myself, much less create multiple identities and try to mess with everyone. Since I emailed the guy two days ago and he hasn't responded nor posted since then, I think I'll just let the cat out of the bag. Here's the last clue (and this should solve it for everyone): Coltrane's Blue Train. B)
  17. That's weird. I've experienced this same problem on a friend's machine and Ad-Aware took care of it.
  18. I emailed C. Michael Bailey. Here's his response:
  19. Haha! I didn't even notice that! How funny. Reminds me of what Bill Heid used to call Larry Goldings and Peter Bernstein: Larry Youngings and Grant Greenstein!!!
  20. It wasn't mikeweil, nor Soulstream, nor Templejazz, nor Chaney, nor ajf67, nor Mny, nor Rooster. I'll give y'all a hint since this is getting crazy.... Mny was on the right track. It's all in the "time".
  21. Hi guys, After that little back and forth with AAJ, Michael Ricci and I have sorted things out and became friends. He's a cool dude. Anyway, I sent a couple discs for review and the result is the following.... a nice little writeup I think. AAJ Review of Waiting For The Boogaloo Sisters
  22. I can put August 4th in for sure! Remember to fill out your birthday in your profiles so they'll show up (even if it's next year...)
  23. See, there's a reason why he's here, folks! :rsmile:
