I danced at a few concerts: Ziggy Marley, Pancho Sanchez. We need a good dance like we need a good cry once in a while!
And I do love playing for beautiful dancers.
Thanks, everybody. Love you all. We had three gigs in three days here, and today I was up earlier than I should have been to attend a workshop, so I've just been chillin' at home tonight. Sure wish I had some of what Chris made for dinner - sounds damn good!
We wondered where you went when we were getting ready to play Mimosa, and you were not to be found! Oh well, it was a good night, and I'm glad you could hang as long as you did.
Would you believe I never knew that song was Aldo Nova? Every time I hear that on the classic rock station, I turn it off because I thought it was either Loverboy or Bon Jovi.
Can ya blame a guy for being confused?
So now that you know, you'll be rockin' out to it, right?
We could have Jim change your name to "Big Aldo Nova"!
Yep, one that I started (on the McLaughlin DVD) shows no topic starter.
Edit: Also one you started in the musicians forum has the same problem, Jim. But even stranger, one by Jason Parker shows his name as the starter, though his info is lost.
Sorry to say, but just because we're doing some equipment upgrades doesn't mean we're making money at this. I wish that were the case, but so far, we're still paying off our production debts on TITP.
Jim is getting that XK3 for the sole purpose of reducing the physical stress of moving gear.
Sweet!
Yeah - I haven't actually played one, but I know I can return it if neccesary. I have a good feeling about it, though. I wasn't aware of them until just last weekend, when I saw Fareed Haque playing one. Sounded great in his hands!
