exchanged dvd burner for a new one today at bestbuy

crazy shit that miami player was shot and killed....

unplugged everything and the thing still won't open i even tried with just the power cord only when i'd plug the usb plug back into it, it would appear via my computer but still wouldn't eject

This burner still won't open with the eject button or via my computer....

trying to figure this thing out this burner won't play dvds/cds? only burn them?

could this be a problem i've got the burner usb plugged into the front of my computer the seagate manual said not to plug usb into the front of computer

i bought a seagate 160 GB EHD and it uses the 2.0 usb and i didn't have any problems could i need a USB 2.0 PCI card for the burner? thanks
