As most of the others I don't have an absolute favorite. 7 steps is the one I listen a lot lately. I'm allowed to listen to Gil/Miles and Silent way when my wife is around - the electric period is not permitted at all! So, it's more a question of mood, ... and trouble! -_-

Without exaggeration I can suggest to be the biggest Barron fan in my house! I consequently ordered this one: The first live recording from Bradley's (released in 2002) is great! Can't wait to get this one!

Right! It is mentioned that these two tracks are issued before. But all others appeared never on other reissues since this sampler is oop, I guess.

Teddy Edwards with Les McCann - It's about time (Pacific, Toshiba-EMI) Bud Shank plays tenor (Pacific, Toshiba-EMI) I love these japan reissues. KING is always prefered but Toshiba did also a great job. (Forget XX-bit hysteria - buy vinyl )

Don't forget the live album "Boss sounds" which was recorded for ATLANTIC. An awful cover but great music! His Contemporary stuff is excellent indeed!

I wonder if the material on this sampler is released somewhere else in the meantime. Especially the three tunes Duke Pearson did together with Ike Quebec are great.

We in Germany have no BORDERS and I don't think they are outside of the US (CAN, AUS, GB or Japan if at all?).

Ordered mine yesterday. Can't imagine, why people are still waiting for a 100 GB player. I have lots of stuff at home I overlooked for ages (some Mosaics ). Why should I listen to it on the road suddenly?
