When you clink on the link, you might open your computer to a virus or trojan (NOT that kind) horse. Usually these sites will try to plant some kind of virus through the link. Ever get those spam mails that say, "to remove yourself from the mailing list, click on the link," well, when you do that, you will often pick up a virus from the spammer. One should have good anti-virus, personal firewall protection on PC. I hope there's not a big stick in the vacinity if I ever run into one of these guys . I'm not really a violent person, but........

John, I actually didn't shoot this set but did photograph Fred on Sunday morning during a great jam session with Ari Brown at the Jazz Record Mart in their little 15x15 room in the back of the store. Keep in mind, there were also bass, drums, trombone, a guitar at time and two sax players. I sat at Fred's feet shooting away, smokin' (not me, the music)!!! I'll try to post something tonight! Others included Ernest Dawkins and Ted Sirota's Rebel Souls! One funny note, when Ted Sirota's band finished playing, they announced that they would be playing in Ann Arbor, NY and Philly and asked that everyone tell their friends. A guy sitting behind me said "who are you, if you want us to tell our friends, it would be nice to know who you are (they had said who they were about 5 times). Ted looked at the guy and said "excuse me sir, I'm Max Roach"! The guy just kinda stared at him for a minute or two before Ted told him he was joking. Everyone got a big laugh except the inquiring man! Mark

The men took her from a house owned by Urbina in suburban Caracas. Zerpa said the kidnappers have not contacted family members. Urbina left the Tigers last week to go to Venezuela, and manager Alan Trammell said Monday that the team had not heard from him since he departed. "I haven't got a call from him," Trammell said. "It's a scary thought to have one of your parents kidnapped. I'm just praying and keeping my fingers crossed that everything is OK." Thanks guys! I went as far as clicking on the link to see that they were looking for private info and then logged off. I sent a note to ebay. What assholes !

I just received a note from ebay saying my account could have been compromised. This email looks "official" but when I click on the link, it's asking for lots of info including my credit card info, ss # and other items. Is this legit? It says in order to protect my account, they will close it in 72 hours if I don't respond....what do you guys think? I've had no issues on ebay, even making a couple transactions in the past few days with no problem. Thanks, Mark
