Voted at 7:30 this morning at my county's city center. About 30 people in front of me but it only took about 30 minutes are there were machines working. No problems with the machines or people on site. There were about 60 people behind me when I finished. There were actually four different rooms with 3-5 machines in each, depending on the precinct. Pretty smooth overall!

We kinda get them in packs; 5 here, 20 there. We've probably had about 50 kids tonight, but will still have a few snacks left over! It's 7:30 now but seems more like 11:00, darker than dark!

You're kidding, right? I'm 100% serious. Her cousin who is 10 plays and she watched him, and picked up on how each piece moves. She asks me every night when I come from work to play chess. I think Conn's "Your're kidding, right?" was in reference to you asking if anyone played......look at his avatar ! Mark

I am looking for a copy of a recording called "The Great Ray Charles", originally released on Atlantic (#1259). Does anyone have a spare they can share? I have the case and liners, but somehow my disc has gone away ! Thanks , Mark

Actually Jamie Moyer (44), Eric Milton (43), Bartola Colon (38) and Darrell May (38) gave up more than Morris (35). Greg Maddux also gave up 35.

One of my best friends is Jim Neumann of BeeHive Records, who's love for jazz is unsurpassed so in regards to jazz, I'm covered. I don't really have any other friends that I hang with on a regular basis that enjoy jazz although I consider some on this board that I have met in person (Rachel, Sal, Ghost) to be friends. Most of my friends like sports so I'm good there. I'm a big fan of history, architecture, travel and photography and have various friends that enjoy one of more of the above. I check in on this board several times per day if possible as I can always find many like minded people here! I guess I'm pretty lucky. M-

...hell, a break or two for the Cardinals and they could have swept the Astros . Although I am a die-hard Cardinal fan and have been my entire life, the Astros battled the entire way and it was an excellent series. I much prefer this type of a series as you never knew who was going to win as each team was kicking ass the entire series; no real blow outs. Each game could have gone either way during the final at bats! Hats off to Houton for battling to get there and putting on a good show ! Mark

I just returned from the St. Louis game last, what a blast . It's appears the board is full of Rex Sox supporters. Although I have been a fan and student of baseball since childhood, I will not proclaim to be an expert are many of you appear to be. As I mentioned to Dan earlier, it all comes down to execution; it will be an exciting series. BTW, if Rolen is #3, who are the #1-2 3rd basemen ??? Mark
