I'm guessing that's a screw-up. I believe "Hard Work" is John Handy's hit. No clue who does the late 60s "Stolen Moments". There is also a single "Best of Impulse Records" CD that has those tracks (correctly) listed as "Stolen Moments - Oliver Nelson" and "Hard Work - John Handy". Interestingly, this single CD is available from CD Universe for $3.49 (list price is $4.98). ...available at Borders as well.....but $4.98. m~

Jimmy played in Indy last week with a local big band. Although these images are from the Indy Jazz Fest, Jimmy also did a great workshop for highschool kids the day before. Not sure if all the kids knew who he was but it was a fun workshop. m~

I would say that Herbert documents his charge of "sleazy and reprehensible" behavior by the Smithfield company pretty well. Not me. I think drivers in Chicago are far worse than drivers in NYC. ...been on the interstates around Boston??? Yep. Chicago is worse. I guess I've driven there so many times that I don't notice nor does it bother me......or maybe I have become one of them! m~
