  1. My wife could not possibly care less. God bless her.
  2. Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge...oh, Maren. Never mind.
  3. I'd love to hear that.
  4. The last two episodes are what really make that series. There are several good episodes on the way to the last two, as well as a few sleepers. ← Hmmm... I've been thinking of springing for the mega-set on this one (Deep Discount DVD offers it for well under a century note). But it's been a long time since I saw any of these (and I never saw all of them, including the last two). So perhaps I should rent first. ← Take it from me, the last episode of The Prisoner stinks. I'm a "Chimes of Big Ben" man myself.
  5. Are you going to do a shot every time someone says "Hi Bob"? ← I have on occasion participated in that particular drinking game. You can get really trashed. ← Truly one of the great comedy shows of all time though.
  6. Distressing to hear about his last days. But he was a wonderful musician and will be remembered for that. R.I.P. Lucky.
  7. I've got the Japanese import of this album. Always liked it.
  8. If I had to choose, it would be...........Paul Desmond. No! Art Pepper. No! Benny Carter. Aaaah, screw it.
  9. Are you going to do a shot every time someone says "Hi Bob"?
  10. Quite a shock. I thought he was holding up against the cancer well. RIP.

    Hey, nice review man.
  12. Who's next? Sulu? Checkov? Nurse Chapel? RIP, James Doohan.
  13. Snakes ain't a bad hobby, fer sure. But spiders---them's the ones I really love!
  14. Why am I not surprised?
  15. We all have our hobbies.....
  16. You know it! Never should have been cancelled.
  17. Does Shadow Wilson count?
  18. Of the "big names," I must admit to also thinking first of Buddy Rich. Whenever I've enjoyed his drumming it's been a rare surprise.
  19. Funny, he doesn't LOOK all that tubby on that cover.
  20. I agree with that. I'm especially impressed by the subtlety, sensitivity, and nuance of Sinatra's singing on this, in an era where he was beginning to rely more and more on swagger and bluster. ← Amen to that. Yeah, this Ray Nance disc sounds damn good. Perhaps another for my ever-lengthening wish list.
  21. Is that on El Camino Real?
  22. Thank God "The Job" is finally out on DVD!
  23. Same with me.
  24. Yep, this one's going to be easy to miss.
