Well I had the first 2 on japanese import and heard the lonehill for the Getting’ Into Somethin’ session which sounded fine to my ageing ears ( which seem to be growing more hairs...what IS going to happen to me that this needs to happen? I would regardless of the lonehill reputation get the seperates as they are nicely produced packaged etc

As you have seen I also have little techie skills and only tried blogger but you can ban the comments from people who really liked your blue note site ...now look at my viagra blah blah and also the same with emails. This got really annoying at first and I think you can have it that all comments can be sent (ie approved) via you so in my European one party type of way I banned them all! I have not tried the wordpress or my space. I need something that I can edit quick and easy ( as I get the wrong facts or piccies) rather than a techie mate when they ain't busy so thats why I plumped for the blogger thing. It depends how often you want it changed, how much info you have to put up and what types...ie text and piccies or videos and music. I have only ventured on the first 2 as I have not got the first clue about sound and vision What do other people use? The main catch like all IT is to keep it upto date and visually appealing I guess.

I have those and no they were Eu issues. I remember at the time I had to return 2 copies of the BJP and 1 of the the Duke Pearson as they used to skip. Come to think of it after I had a look yesterday I can find my copy of Lou's Every thing I play's gonna be funky !! Who has hidden it then? Where could it be Help It might be lost

Quite a nice long list and YES I know does not include some favourites of mine too but still ten years ago I never assumed all of these would be out.

I guess that that is the same with many artists. I think what I love to read and see and witness is the growing appreciation of Big John Patton's music by other musicians. I feel his technique was markedly different than many other organists in many different ways as it demonstrated across the Blue Note output or in his releases in the 80's and 90's

Not got this one or seen it as far as I remember. A quick trawl around the google sphere does not help that much either Best of luck and I will keep my eyes peeled. As for the comments about Fuel etc I know what you mean!

Just an update on this. My copy which I managed to get a little cheaper arrived on Saturday and I was astonished at how large it was. Came in its own little slip case as well . Started having a nose through over the weekend and its quite a nice little project with lots of contributions from a wide variety of ECM artists old and new Got a discography at the back for all of their releases so far and quite a large section on each artist too.

Ah - I didn't find it in the Hammond Zone, so I thought it wasn't there. MG In my superior and overstated way. I forgive you! -_- Go get it as its great

MY GOD! I remember getting offered loads of the LT version of that...literally handfuls of LPs and I think they were $5 a piece and I thought I should only buy 2 or 3 Mind you I too have never seen the Japanese copy before now either ....but still $660 ouch...(ain't even that good I think)
