I would think that the actualisation means complete and revised ie l-z gets an update too L-z is not ready yet bu the sounds of it because of the earlier comments about the first set taking so long

I always try to leave feedback when I can Had a recent issue where it went wrong and so I said so ...it backfired and I got tit for tat stuff and paypal also let me down to when I raised the issue In the end ....i learnt not worry about it As for you Dan I would write back and thank them for responding. Say that however I am still not happy and would like a refund and offer to return the item at your own cost etc postage wise If you still get no joy ask for a reduction You have then taken some steps to resolve the issue and will appear to be reasonable As for the declining standards I understand Long time ebayer here getting more pissy with it

Burns' THE WAR gets drubbed in the New Yorker
andybleaden replied to ghost of miles's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
I read this...got interested then lost interest by the end of the paragraph.I wonder why Burns said that one of the motivations for the project was hearing, in the late nineties, that something like a thousand veterans of the Second World War were dying every day. That gave him a sense of urgency, without giving him any good ideas. During the publicity juggernaut for “The War” (and let history record that the ten-million-dollar marketing campaign includes “commemorative” cans of Budweiser and, as I live and breathe, oranges and eggs branded with station and time-of-broadcast information) -
Best thing I have seen for a while

John Patton's "Soul Connection" to be released on CD
andybleaden replied to Soul Stream's topic in Artists & Recordings
I am really pleased about this as I had the lp and now survive after a very kind cd burn. A really decent set which I think was a great pairing of Grachan Moncur and John Patton. Cannot wait to get this (all over again) A -

Assassins Get Paid REALLY Well These Days!
andybleaden replied to JSngry's topic in Miscellaneous Music
We got a whole of guys loading there bank accounts through exploitation of millions across the world.....and I do not mean the private sector. That you take for granted. I always think with this whole Wynton business if there ain't some nasty hidden agenda lurking around comments about him -
I knew they would never last. Just like the LP and the cylinder before that! thanks for the article Reminds me to take out the cds from the dishwasher where they are in for remastering I wonder if you could go back in time with a person with a 30 gb mp3 full of lossless music and show them where we are now...would they be impressed or saddened? Answers?

Winston Churchill(and others) to be axed from British
andybleaden replied to BERIGAN's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Steady on there old bean. That sort of language may just get your countries licence to exist revoked and you will end up back as part of the the Empire! That would make Charles your king. A direct replacement /like for like for your current buffoon -
apologetic or apopletic? I am the latter It is an awful browser and I hate when I have to use it ( like on other peoples PCs)

HEY HEY New news New George Braith release called Bop Rock Blues at CD Baby now I cannot believe another George Braith CD coolio Here is the link to find out more/buy http://cdbaby.com/cd/georgebraith5 and here is some info Jazz musicians play multiple styles of music throughout their careers. Most of the time, the kind of music presented depends on who is listening. A tremendous audience has accumulated for Rock and Blues styles , largely because of their easy listening sounds. The beat, the chords and the melodies are clear and readily appreciated. Bop, progressive jazz, can be more difficult to understand; however, the more one listens to it, the more familiar one becomes to its innovative sounds and content, and the more potential there is for understanding and enjoyment. “BOP ROCK BLUES” contains the musical ingredients of all three styles with an emphasis on dance rhythms. “BOPTRONICS”, developed by George Braith, is a method of using modern recording techniques to produce any kind of instrumentation. Unlike Midi, “BOPTRONICS” is played in real time. The Braithophone, an invention of George Braith, is a woodwind instrument that produces two sounds at once.

I personally know for sure he had a strings LP lined up and then there was the voices project with Andrew Hill but Manfred Eicher could not get him to break his contract with Blue Note to work for his new label so he signed Keith Jarrett instead who had played a little organ before with Miles but he went down another path
