  1. I figured most would vote for a bit of both.
  2. To one of our most humorous posters... Happy Birthday Paul!!
  3. What do you mean?
  4. I've got a copy which I'm hanging on to as I don't have the Mosaic box.
  5. It went through my window.
  6. Why the frowning face? I did say it was down the street... I would like the Foster cd if you could pick that up for me, Kevin. Thanks!
  7. . ..good deal on the Watkins!!! I don't know what it goes for, but I'm happy with the deal.
  8. There are about three tunes on "How Insensitive" which are total crap, BTW, but again, there is a lot of good stuff on there as well.
  9. Presumably for the Journey, right?
  10. Is this an extension of your "How to play B-3" thread?
  11. Need a new stereo, Evan! I've found every single RVG to be superior to the old masterings (whenever I've been able to compare them.) I try to upgrade everything. so paul, you think the new RVG dial s for sonny is better then the prior release (which was a CONN??!!! ). still sounds the same to me! Can't tell, Evan. I traded in the Conn when I bought the RVG. Couldn't A/B em!
  12. I must demure with the expressed opinions. B-) I dislike "Merry Ole Soul" and I like "How Insensitive!" Flora Purim's vocals are outstanding; and I even like the choral voices as well. Some beautiful music on that session for sure. I didn't care for the Mosaic Select at all, but I have "How Insensitive" on JRVG. "Stella by Starlight" and "Christo Redentor" are highlights along with the Purim tracks.
  13. ...with the subtitle "open discussion ONLY if you're a far left liberal. Anyone else will be abused, spit on, insulted and kicked out" Yes, Greg, but the trick is to avoid the place and watch from a distance as the libs all yell and curse each other!
  14. pm'd you on the Watkins.
  15. It's terrific, Tom. Especially the solo Herbie alt take of "Goodbye to Childhood."
  16. Need a new stereo, Evan! I've found every single RVG to be superior to the old masterings (whenever I've been able to compare them.) I try to upgrade everything.
  17. Can I have that one please? pm your address, please. Going abroad, right? I'll mail it sans jewelcase. I'll send it on Saturday when I have time to go to the post office and complete the custom's form. What should I put for "value," $80?
  18. Keep the Politics section. But if you don't then, like Moose, I'll stick around here anyway!
  19. Excellent idea! I haven't posted in the politics forum for a long time (I think!) I also usually don't have the spare time to catch up on all the stuff there as well. I agree with Wes and Guy, however. We need it as a kind of "nasty area." Keeps the more aggressive posters confined to an area. Having said that, we have to be serious about politics spilling into other threads. We gotta nip that one in the bud if it ever happens!
  20. Okay Jim and Jeff. I stand corrected.
  21. I'll remember that one, Chuck.
  22. I mentioned the same thing to the store owner as I traded in my old copy. He said he preferred the new copy. What a salesman!
  23. Scroll up from Rooster's post to Lon's and these hairy legs appear!
