I thought so as well, but the timetable has been moved up. Our house is going on the market on the 10th of this month; the last week of the month we're flying down to check out houses with a realtor down there. If we see one we like, we'll be making an offer.

I agree with Tony in that going with your local shop is the way to go. There's nothing like having the local shop in your corner when something goes wrong! Some things are great for mail order or net shopping, but a bike isn't one of them.
Please accept my condolences. I'm happy for your mother that you and your family were able to make the sacrifices to allow her the dignity of staying in her own home rather than elsewhere. I'm sure it meant the world to her!
Well, I'm glad someone could answer your questions, because I've never paid more than around $100 for a bike in my life. I'm not sure what I could possibly get, in terms of better exercise, for spending ten times as much...
