Wow..if that's one of his worst, I need to get busy! I can't say it's an absolute favorite of mine, but it certainly makes me want to hear more.

Speaking as a moose, I resent that...

I actually do find his "child in a grown-up body" schtick to be hilarious, because he puts all of the child into it. Jerry Lewis, et.al. put the cute waif into their act, but Atkinson throws in the absolute bastard that also lurks in children. It's the wantonly cruel aspect that raises him above the others to me. Well, that and the Rube Goldberg ideas he comes up with to solve his problems, like painting his apartment in a flash. But then comedy is a very personal thing; if it was up to me, David Spade, for example, would be in Gitmo...

All I have is... ...but I like it and intend to get more.

Just wanted to mention that each time I listen to Careless Love, the better it sounds. And the less it sounds like Billie. I'd have to put this one on my "recommended" list.

My favorite stuff was probably hated by most of you: Silver Age Superman titles. You know, those Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, red kryptonite stories with Bizarro No. 1, a host of freaks and oddities, and every story ending with Superman in deep thought at "How ironic!" it all was... It was like visiting another planet! My "prime comic time" was the mid sixties through the mid seventies, so I was a Marvel fanatic, so that was as an adult. As a child I thought those Superman books were pretty stupid... The last comics I read as I drifted away... Sandman Eightball Hate and anything by Milo Manara...

My guess is no, if they tried to develop it themselves...

I'm a big fan of the original as well. Best starring role Wilder ever had. Although I'd rather see him in Bonnie & Clyde...
