Well, I'll bow to your opinion then, as I do come from a comic background, and thought the movie was an awesome capturing of the early Avengers feel. I was afraid that those who weren't fanboys (or, in my case, former fanboys) wouldn't care for it. I thought the movie was a bit tedious in spots, but just in spots. Strange thing is, I left the theater thankful that we don't have such people in real life more so than when I left after The Watchmen.

Caught it tonight. I can't say it was a G*R*E*A*T* F*I*L*M, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. Favorite part: Loki's encounter with The Hulk... Definitely one of the best of this genre I've seen.

I picked this one up just to get over the free shipping level, basically, but it's a very good read.

I have to admit, I'm hyped just because of the Avengers line-up they went with. I skipped the opening weekend crowds, though; they can get upwards of 25-30 people crowding the theater sometimes. Wednesday or Thursday for me. Of course, if it's good, I expect a sequel with The Vision...
