It's that time of year again, although apparently someone forgot to wake up my Sharks in time. They might sneak into the playoffs, but if they can't take the Pacific away from the Kings this week, I don't see any point. If I were a betting man, I'd probably take the Blues in the Western and the Bruins for a repeat in the Eastern. Just a hunch...

With all the things people have joked about on this board, this particular one is too sacred to touch? I could understand you're reaction if they were tasteless jokes, but these are just silly. Does my organ donor note on my license at least entitle me to say "lighten up"?

In moderation. I like what I've read, but I rarely look for more. Strange...I just checked my shelves. I have four books by him, none of which I've read. This has all the markings of an author I think I should like, but don't. I know I've read stuff by him that I enjoyed, though; I just don't have them anymore. I'm too lazy to do an internet search, but I remember something about bands or something...

Because traditionally dimes were made of silver and nickels of er...nickel and something, I think. Silver's worth a lot more. Yes, back in the old days, coins were actually worth what they said they were worth. Weird...

Good point. But as for comparing Tebow to Bradford, Bradford isn't a 'project quarterback' like Tebow. Sure, he needs some experience, same as any new quarterback, but he doesn't need his arm retrained the way Tebow does. Besides, Tebow is only 8-6 in the NFL; you'd think someone with god on their side could do a bit better than that...
