  2. The Knitting Factory is mostly a rock club.
  3. With all the prog bands on Atlantic back then, I'd say Crimson too. The final '70s Crimson was pretty heavy. Starless and Bible Black, Red & USA were just as good. ← mo Fripp...

  6. In America, King Crimson's 60s & 70s albums came out on Atlantic. ELP albums came out on Cotillion & Manticore, Atlantic related labels. Badger were signed by Atlantic Records in 1973.
  7. Yes isn't obscure, but their members released their first solo albums on Atlantic. I'll let you know if I can think of anything else.

  13. I'll go on a limb here and say it was pretty good even when he sang through 1981. Guy ← Where's my saw? Genesis went down hill after Steve Hackett left. I'd say And Then There Were Three was the last good one. PC was good for Brand X.

  15. Auditioning for the Baja Marimba Band. ← One needs to know that rather obscure reference (thanks Chuck!), but if one does that's really funny! ← Bill Fenohr, actually, but I'm relieved to know that at least one person got it. ← Don't worry. More than one person got it.
  16. Thanks for the all the hard work Jim. I'm digging this feature where I can click on the number of replys to a thread. Any chance of a spell checker?

I see Leo is listing the next standards box.
  19. I hope he doesn't perform with it set up like that. Maybe if he has a real tiny ass.

  21. Dude! I was just at a show the other night in DOWNTOWN FREAKIN' CHICAGO, and we went to the bar/pizza joint around the corner for a pie and a couple of beers, and sure as shit, they charged me $4.50 each for my Rolling Rocks. When the check came, you betcha, clear as day: 3 IMPORT BEERS: $13.50 I asked the bartender and he was like, "I know, I know...the owner, he calls Rolling Rock an import..." To which my response was, "dude, I know Pennsylvania is different but they're not foreign!!! Poor guy just shrugged his shoulders and gave me a free High Life. Cue jokes about Pennsylvania instead of New Jersey.
  22. I've never been to a reunion, but... Just out of high school in NJ, we would drink Rolling Rock because it was cheap. Imagine our surprise when we would go to NYC and find RR expensive. It was almost an import in NY!
