Mosaics That Could Have Been, But Weren't
Brad replied to JSngry's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
That's probably true. Would have liked to have seen it, or how about just a release or two. That ain't happenin' either. -
I was going to say Cy Young. I think he pitched forever. Fair enough. Golf is a frustrating game at times. Trust me. But I still keep coming back. Love this game! And you know why they call it Golf, don't you? Because all the other four-letter words were taken [insert rim shot here] Me or Jim? Yeah, it can get pretty ugly out there sometimes. I play a lot of "hit-it-and-hope". Jim! I haven't played in years (back) but I'm no loss to the golf world (except ball manufactuers)

I picked this up recently based on advise from a thread here (I think). Anyway, enjoyable album.

Some people have theorized Houston as it's a ready made to order situation: smallish type city, very good team and a dome. Schaub is always injured and the Texans won't take a major cap hit if they cut him.

No disrespect but I can't envision you on the links

Well, if you know anything about European football you would. In fifteen years with Liverpool he won three league championships (e.g. equivalent to today's Premier League), two FA Cups and the UEFA Cup.

You have that completely wrong. In the immortal words of Bill Shankley, the legendary Liverpool coach, "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."

I must have missed that fine place in my travels across the state, such as it is.

Sympathies Jeff. We're going through the same thing with my mom right now, who lives with us. Her independence is key to her. That is being lost and I understand her plight. It's no fun to get old, that's for damn sure.

Now, see, if you were a genuine psychopath, you'd have a perfectly linear explanation that tied everything together nice and neat, no ambiguity, everything resolved in advance, and the only time your head would explode would be when a bullet went through it. Fraud! :g He must be a psychopath -- he's a moderator!

Yes, it just reinforces them. Truer words were never spoken. And, yes, we all like a football game because of its legalized mayhem. However, the detritus it leaves behind are real people, whose lives have been shattered by the violence. I"m always reminded me of the George Carlin bit about the differences between football and baseball.

Something like maybe he would think about returning to the Cavs in a couple of years. Must have given Heat management and fans pause. In another vein, all this attention has not really done Jeremy Lin any good: Lin's Heroics Have Turned Him Into a Marked Man

After reading the Times' coverage the last few days, this seems to be a prevalent practice in the NFL although one done more by the players themselves than team management.

I envy you that in a way. Sure it gets old hat after awhile but you sure are going to some different places. Trust me, nothing's happening in Chester, NJ

This is obviously none of my business but I'm curious as to what you're doing in Azerbaijan. Business? If you tell to mind my beeswax, no issue there

Amen.
