Cool. It's been hit or miss this afternoon, hopefully the downstream populates on the promptly and our long national nightmare will soon be over.

Oh, I tried accessing the band page, the root page for all this, www.orgainissimo.org and it still happened. Something in the DNS chain has to be, if not off, then fragile.

Glad to see that there's documentation supporting the logic behind this. Back on now, but in the interim, I had the redirect thing. It seems to be an interim occurrence, although for me it's been mostly miss rather than hit. Also, can I use "Dirk Vromans" as my secret spy name? Please? fwiw - closed the window after the post above, tried getting back in a few minutes later, got the goodmayor.com block Closed the window, tried again a few minutes later, and voila, aqui estoy.

Reaching the site just fine from work now, after getting the re-direct all morning. Have not changed bookmark link. Also got it from home last night and very early this AM. Same thing on my phone (android) & Brenda's tablet (I-Pad). The board link is the only one that gets redirected, on all machines, all other links function normally. Gotta wonder about the choices of redirection - at work, it gets blocked at goodmayor.com. That's the business's security blocking it. On all other devices, it goes thorugh goodmayor.com and lands at various sketchy looking app/utility download sites. If you don't click on anything, I don't see where you get anything harmful. My question is simple - what is triggering the redirect to goodmayor.com? When it blacks at work, the link is something like goodmayor.com/site ID = www.organissimo.org. That's not exact, but close.

Just got in from work after 15-20 minutes of trying and failing b/c my bookmark kept taking me to "goodmayor.com" as the landing site for the link and then the url read something like "id=www.organissimo.org". My work security blocker stopped that dead in it tracks, and looking up goodmayor.com, it does not seem to be a good place to be. So...what happened?

The Open Door stuff is a lot like that too.

Been revisiting Focus over the weekend, and like it a lot more than I used to...except when I don't. That diminished scale thing is painful, actually, and I do feel you on that particular pain. And occasionally, that shit is just sappy. But other parts...it's easy (and probably correct) to hear Getz as playing very "easy", just putting out his core language over the strings. But then again, lyricism is lyrical after all, so I don't know...perhaps it's a miracle of self-editing? It works better for me if I list to Getz' playing as secondary (or at the very most, 48%) to the "event" rather than primary. It's growing on me if I let it (no infection jokes, please).

How's Ricky Ford doing these days? That band sounds like fun.

JAAP VAN ZWEDEN CONDUCTS THE LABĂQUE SISTERS PIANOS PHILIP GLASS Double Concerto for Two Pianos BRUCKNER Symphony No. 8 Ok, I'm still not sure about Phllip Glass (not that I have a say in these things), but this one had more...nuance than I'm used to hearing from his work. At the end of the day, though, I remain convinced that his music can be ultimately reverse-engineered into a Phil Spector record. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But one of the percussionists seemed woefully out of sync the whole way through, and in this most meticulously metrically subdivided music, hey, Spector doubled everybody but Hal Blaine, who was nowhere to be heard or felt here. A fundamental flaw in performance, better luck next time, maybe. The Bruckner was amazing. van Zweden gets it, and gets the band to play it. Yeah, it was long. Yeah, it was kind of (or more) OCD-ish. And yeah, there are some conceptual similarities between Bruckner and Glass (and in that regard, brilliant programming!) but whereas Glass reverse engineers into Phil Spector - to Spector's advantage, btw - Bruckner is wholly organic and reverse engineers pretty much back into itself, if not in overt source, then definitely in architecture. So many internal references keep repeating yet unfolding...gotta be a bitch to play this, gotta be even more of a bitch to conduct it, to keep that macro arc moving forward while giving all the micro details the fullest detail. I kept waiting for the thing to blink, or look down, or in some other way break the trance, but it never did. And see, that's the thing - Glass presupposes that you're going to trance out on his shit, which seems a bit of a con-job to me, no matter what the music actually is...people can fool themselves into liking shit because it sounds like what they think it's supposed to sound like.. Bruckner doesn't really presuppose anything other than...what he wrote is what you're going to get. But that's not a given, you're not going to get shit if there's a basic misunderstanding of what "it" "is". Presuppositions and conclusions are not really the same thing, are they? Glass, presupposition. Brucker, an conclusion borne of being convinced. Bruckner, ftw.

Go ahead, call it "commercial". Just be ready for Mister DUH! to team up with Mr. That's The Whole Point Dumbass and Mrs. Uh, Ya Think to bust into your house when you're watching TV and make away with ALL your cred, yours and your dog's. The dog might put up a fight, but it didn't learn that from you, right?

Is this an older thread that has just now resurface due to the database transfers or whatever? I'm having deja vu here. -
I think the version on this LP is complete? https://www.discogs.com/Various-Historical-Prez-Lester-Young-1940-1944/release/3203384 I'll say that this is some of my favorite Lester, period. The 1944 stuff with basie is as good as it gets!

Between 6:30-7AM is often iffy here, but I'm at work, not at home. Occasionally occurs at various interval throughout the day as well. At home, though, "always on".
