  1. Trust your ears. That's definitely Dewey.
  2. I'd put good money on it that you are correct.
  3. I find the answers every bit as rewarding as the music, always a good thing. Gracias beaucoup!
  4. Ike Quebec always sounded great. Guy had a tone that could melt ice on Antarctica.
  5. Most everybody has gangster in them. Most everybody has killer in them. Most everybody has Tony Soprano in them. Them that don't are either liars or true rarities. Mostly the former, I'd wager.
  6. Yeah, they're going fast and it is a limited edition.
  7. The Internets is your friend...
  8. 5 ft guys & gals? Even with the ladders, I don't know if they could reach the toppest shelves!
  9. Oh really? Hadn't heard about that....
  10. You know who I really feel sorry for now? Lance Berkman. Poor guy.
  11. Shorty Rogers is credited w/the charts for the Bryant, iirc.
  12. Damn, that thread sucked me right in. I may as well be watching the show. Ya' know, I was so...hit (pun not really intended) by the show's ending that I went looking for some kind of resolution (I know, it's only a tv show, yeah, right) & stumbled across that thread, which stayed pretty lively for a week or two afterward. I didn't want to accept that Tony had gotten killed, but the more I read this thread, the more accepting I became. They were like some kind of group grief counselling or something... That people needed that for a freakin' tv show says something - maybe more than anything else - about how many buttons that show pushed in so many people for so long, I think.
  13. Not that I'd admit to!
  14. http://www.thechaselounge.net/showthread.php?t=1984 Tony got whacked, until proven otherwise (i.e. - there is impetus for a movie/reunion/etc.). I made my peace with this (almost) four years ago, thanks to that thread on that board.
  15. & Improved In The Process (IMO, of course), not just him, the whole thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU0YGDkXc6E The original, if you like: I mean, I like both, really, that pianist works for me big time, but...I like the groove. It's the right thing to do, in this case. The longer it goes, the better it feels, the way a groove should do. Absolutely no reason a live band couldn't do this and captivate an entire room. Ya' know?
  16. I have this double LP, nice garage rock comp, actually prefer it to the original Nuggets. Has my boys from Winnepeg doing "Shakin' All Over" among other treasures. Cover doewn't reaaly fir it; should be something more suburban and downscale. Visit the model today...
  17. DL, please, before the supply dwindles.
  18. You beat me to it. http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/mingus-midnight-jam/concerts/radio-city-music-hall-july-07-1974.html?utm_source=NL&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=110225

  23. Why would you want them? The CDs ALL sound better! Wouldn't you rather take my cassettes & 8-tracks instead?
