Just as the bathroom has become the sole opportunity I have to read uninterrupted, so has the car beco me the last place for me to urinate in private, er, I mean, listen to music uninterrupted. And since I don't have one of these vinyl has become a rare treat indeed. and I'm ok with that. Got an iPod about 4 months ago, just now getting around to using it. Like the flexibility and storage capacity, don't like the ear buds, can't wear "headphones" at the office, and typical MP3 quality, although perfect enough for casual/background use doesn't hold up to close listening. Great concept, but give me a FLAC-capable iPod an watch me smile a little more. Truthfully, I usually have more fun listening to music in my mind (be it real or imagined) than through any recorded medium (more than just enough to get it in there). But that's just me, and that's just right now.

No doubt, probably doing a 3-way in the kitchen with Peggy Lipton while Quincy fucked Horizon in the den.

The story has it that Quincy Jones played The Revolutionary Ensemble album to Herb Albert a t a dinner party and asked him something like "Is this the type of shit you're putting your money into?"...and that was the end of Horizon. John Snyder would soon thereafter pick up with Artists House, but not for all that long. There were also two albums on Horizon by some pop-fusion band that Jimmy Owens was in...can't remember the name or the music. I still enjoy the Billy Hart.

I just ordered the Basie On the Sunny Side Of The Street after hearing Lockjaw totally ravish and lascivicate "I Don't Stand A Ghost Of A Chance With You" on Music Choice Friday night around 1 AM.
