  1. Nevertheless, I don't generally care for Mozart. Give me a Shang-Ri-Las 45 or two. Or The Four Seasons. End up feeling just about the same in much less time, and without nearly as much work. I kid (somewhat), but still, life is short and time is tight. I want a not-disproportionate return on my investments.

  10. Thanks for the concern. No problems in my area yet. Keep in mind, though, that around here, "land the equivalent to rhode island's size" is some folks' back yard.
  11. Is there anything about the book/whatever to the Clifford set that makes it "esssential"?

  19. Yeah, there's always been that undercurrent, but they seem to be planning on really bringing it home as they bring it home.
  20. Wasn't sure what direction this new season would take after most all the old significant storylines had been wrapped up (cheaply, I thought) last time out. But this looks like it's gonna be good.

  24. That was a very enjoyable cut for me. Rob spent a few years here in Dallas, and we had a fun and satisfying music relationship while he was here. As is my wont, I lost touch with him after he moved away (for better or worse, I'm very much an "in the moment" guy when it comes to maintaining contacts), but it's good to hear him sounding this strong and fresh. That's very much in keeping with how he played when he was here, and very much in keeping with the few things of his I've heard since he left.
