  2. Well crap. A needless gap identified. Several opportunities missed over they years, just by not paying close enough attention. But thanks for calling it out and bringing it up. Going forth, eyes wide open. No matter, Polydor Blood (Paul Bley in Haarlem) is a gorgeous record, like what Bill Evans maybe thought he was going to do but never did.. And as such, Felser's Arista/Freedom 2-fer would make a great addition to any vinyl library!

  9. If I buy new LPs of LPs I've had for 45 or so years and then play them less in my remaining years alive that I've already played the ones that I've had (and kept in good shape), is that a net gain or a net loss? The math on this one befuddles me...

  13. Not really sure that Leonard Feather's production choices are the best, but there's not a whole helluva lot of Vi Redd on record, so....oh well. She definitely brought the flayva. Maybe there's a lost set of tapes of her doing a club date or something. I would love to hear her like that.
