well ill tell u what vinyl im NOT listening to---- this one, cause today in the mail i finally get it on CD! this is the one that was never released in america (on cd)--- cant wait to experience this intricate album w/o background noise!

very impressive....i bet they sound sooooooooooo much better than the US impluses......are they the same stampers (RVG) even if not, i bet they still sound sooooooo much better ithats ok, thank u though, but that is intereting- i didnt know nyc had many jazz record options now,---so u can still in NYC have jazz record "finds"??

just got a white label promo of this-- my favorite of candidos abc-paramount releases....the others can get a lil tacky in song selection or arrangements-*- this one is the one w/ candidos working band, lots of soloing, st. thomas and a night in tunisia are played.... *i blame abc-paramount

i got the hank/slice of the top CONN series lp vers....to my suprise its 180g vinyl, not paper thin like raregroove lps, from same time period--

george braith deserves a honor for his continuing advancement of jazz. usu i say w/ these things who cares like r&r hall of fame- but in jazz's case theres a 25k prize along w/ the award. so i say give it to george braith for sure one year soon

Zappa has said this song absolutely knocked him out- he ranked it as one of the most abstract lyrics he ever heard in all of doo wop music that turned a big influence on his style- the B side to Tear Drops: "girl around the corner"--- i still need this on 78-- listen to the lyric......
