  1. LOL I guess it answers my question regarding if someone else was in the same boat, now how the heck do I fix it ?
  2. Was posting in the What are you listening now thread and was adding an image of the cd i was listening but was not able to make appear the case where you add up the link but i've noticed that about every function (Emoticons and anything to jazz up the text) seems to be shut off. Am i the only one experiencing this ?
  3. I always feel weird when i meet a person who is proud to call himself or herself an atheist but at the same time ask you for your astrological sign.
  4. Last night, went to the bar and watched a Top Rank PPV called Latin Fury 13
  5. What to do when Valentine's day is the samevday than the football game http://www.pumahardchorus.com/ Listen to both versions.
  6. On the lighter side of things, it was Wayne Gretzky who had the honor to lit up the Olympix Cauldron. Not the greatest of picks. If he took part in the Olympics, can't say his realisations as an Olympian made him the best choice. Nancy Greene or Gaetan Boucher would have been better picks.
  7. Can't say they started very well with the awful incident involving the luger http://www.cyberpresse.ca/videos/?mediaid=644751#go Beware those images are not for the faint of heart
  8. Happy to know i'm know the only one who digged this series, too bad they took all the edge away after the first year, wished the show would have been done by HBO or Showtime, they never would have made the wreck the network did. +1
  9. Here you go 1. Biri Biri - (Wolof) 2. Weex Bet 3. Naagu - (Wolof) 4. Beusseum-Bi 5. Sa Doome 6. Boy Djine 7. Toucouleur Bi 8. Sey - (Wolof) 9. Bouko Bayi 10. Dabax 11. Walo 12. Withiaxou 13. Askanu Laobe
  10. Not a fan of those type of compilations but it was the first time i saw music of him. A lot more festive than N'Dour
  11. That looks kind of funny on a board where so many people consider '60s Blue Note LPs as "modern jazz"... Actually, I don't.
  12. Joe Namath is over sixty also and he was not the starting quarterback yesterday ,
  13. Nothing against them, they just should not have been there at the first place.
  14. Among the things i won't miss when i'll be dead will be when i take out the clothes out of the washing machine and realize there was a Kleenex stranded in one of my pockets and you can guess the rest...
  15. By the way, didn't the Super Bowl mean spectacular ads ? I don't think there was one that stood out yeaterday.
  16. The Riddler The Joker Cat Woman
  17. Jack Sharkey Boston Gob Joseph Paul Zukauskas
  18. Watched a football game that you may have heard of.
  19. Agreed about your fisrt paragraph, would add that the Saints made the big plays on an almost mistake free game. Happy for the city NO but at the same time have a hard time to be happy for a team that includes Jeremy Shockey. Regarding The Who, wished i was out of the room, they should stop bringing those geriatric bands who aren't playing a song that has been written the 25 last years. What's next Mike Love and the Beach Boys.
  20. Going to see the Marianne Trudel quartet with guest Mark Feldman.
  21. Saw in my email this news item from JazzLoft a bundle of Waldron recordings from the label Slam, can't really say i'm familiar with this label. Anyway the bundle includes * Max Roach / Mal Waldron: Explorations... to the Nth Degree (2-CD Set) * Steve Lacy / Mal Waldron: Let's Call This... Esteem * George Haslam / Mal Waldron: Two New * Mal Waldron / George Haslam: Waldron/Haslam Sounds tasty, anybody can comment on those titles ? The 4 titles are sold for less than 40 bucks https://www.jazzloft.com/p-51564-special-5-cd-bundle-explorationesteemtwo-newwaldron-haslam.aspx
  22. The one with Springsteen last year was the first one in ages i remember watching. Heck i only learned about the Nipplegate the next day only.
