I've been "collecting," on and off, the OJC Limited Editions, figuring that some of them are the least likely to be re-released in the future. I was putting a list together earlier and was shocked to realize that I have over 80 of them now. Most of them I've never seen in the stores.
Take a look on Amazon and see the prices being asked for many of them by Marketplace sellers.
I picked up a lot of them during the last Concord sale for 3 bucks a pop. They've wised up this time around and aren't giving them away again. Even so, I've noticed that quite a few of them have disappeared from the site just within the last day or so. I've also noticed that for some titles, Amazon Marketplace merchants like Newbury Comics seem to have fairly large quantities (30 or so) in stock. I wonder if some of the merchants have been buying out Concord's stock of the OP titles (seems like that happened during the last sale).
Wow, you're right. Of the ten I ordered just a few days ago (and thankfully they've all shipped!) the following starred ones are now unavailable...
