I watched this game at the Excalibur (Vegas) today. It was so hard to find a tv playing it -- all these stupid college games. The west's top 4 have looked pretty shaky over the past week or so. Whether getting blown out two games in a row (Phoenix), losing two games in a row (Dallas, San Antonio), losing FOUR games in a row (Utah road trip), or losing home games to crappy teams (San Antonio). On the other hand, Houston won by 50 pts today. Warriors still holding onto playoff spot #8. The schedule gets a little tougher at this point, though. Guy

That was a great game. I wouldn't get too carried away overanalyzing one game -- I'm sure that if the Mavs & Suns meet in the conference finals, we'll have at least two or three of these crazy games. Guy

Broken China isn't bad! Though I have reservations about Rick Wright's vocals from this period. I listened to TFC again and you're right, the opening sequence of the album (first 6 songs) is pretty good. Though I'd still rather listen to almost any Floyd from '70-'75... Guy

Larry, I think you are confusing two different incidents: 1) Octavian being shipwrecked in Spain, when he was 17 (mid 40s BC), while Caesar was still alive. I assume the plot in the 1st season episode where Octavian gets kidnapped by barbarians was a nod to this. 2) Octavian's naval battles against Sextus Pompeius (Pompey Magnus's son), who was based in Sicily. This did happen in the 30s BC, between the battles of Philippi and Actium. Guy
