  1. I have never ordered directly from this label's website. But I have a number of the K2B2 releases, which are all cds. It was my understanding thattThe label was run by Buell Neidlinger. If so, with his death perhaps the label is now run by his estate and/or his spouse. Krystall was apparently a close colleague of Neidlinger's.

  11. Sheila has a home in the mid Hudson valley area. Plays 2-3 times a year in that area in small clubs like the Rosendale. I typically can catch her once a year-always a treat.

  20. I went to the inaugural Hudson (NY) jazz festival yesterday. Curated by Armen Donelian. Thomas Chapin's sister-in law, a film director by trade, has been working on a documentary about him for quite a while. The film is intended to be commercially released in late March. I saw a preview showing of it yesterday. Very moving. Includes concerts. Opens and closes with a set he did with his trio at Newport in 1995.

  23. Went to the Holyoke concert last night. one 90 minute set. Great show. the first 40 minutes or so followed in order the tunes on the cd. Everybody sight reading the material (other than Williams). Probably better later in the tour but last night was more than pretty good.
