Right. I don't see Jones in a similar light. He's egotistical to the extreme, but he still tries to build a competitive team. And his current team isn't really that bad.

It's honestly time to let it go. J.A.W., at worst, was guilty of clumsy wording. And he has never shown himself to be a hateful or vindictive person. Both he and alocis strike me as a nice and thoughtful cats. I invited alocis to join us over at jazztalk, and hope he decides to. Maybe it will help ease some of the tensions here.

Um, I completely agree. I didn't realize that was who they were talking about at the beginning of this thread. He's always struck me as a pretty nice cat. I definitely appreciate his contributions in the political forum. Hope he doesn't take the haters to heart...

The last time he was here I guess he kind of went off on the owner of Jazz Corner in the thread about the forums closing over there. They had had a huge falling out years ago and I guess Chris still hasn't been able to let it go. Haven't seen him around since then, so he probably said "fuck it" at that point. Does anyone know if he is on Facebook?

People figured out they could get their news for free online. All newspapers are in trouble, not just that one. And magazines won't be far behind.

She's a better songwriter, IMO. But I enjoy her playing.
