Wow....shows that how you treat your kids will affect them later in life. I umpire girls softball and try to be friendly to all the kids in an authoritative way- who knows what their homelife is like? Maybe softball is an escape. Thank goodness my dad wasn't like Eric's dad.

That's Martyjazz I believe. He can still make picks until 12:00 Noon EST- if he doesn't he'll get the person with the lowest picks minus 1. But I hope he picks today!

I put NO in for you- as the pool admin- I can make changes or add picks if you get shut out- CONN is the head of this and I'm assuming he's ok with this since you listed the pick before the game started. The picks lock 1 hr before scheduled kickoff- that's why you couldn't pick NO.

First picks are due tonight- MIN-NO. Half have their picks in. I can't get my picks to save- anyone have this issue? For the record I'm picking NO. There's still time if anyone else wants to play- see the invite in the above posts.

Well now K-Rod is out for the season after tearing a thumb ligament after tuning up his father-in-law. He shouldn't be paid the rest of the year- just because he's stupid. Now- I wonder if Bryce Harper will sign with the Nationals?

I use my Motorola Droid to listen to stations that stream....I use I-Heart radio and Radiotime- between these you have most everything available.

I was saddened by the news. I've been a Feat fan since the 1970s- my favorite band. Seen them about 23 times or so. Met Richie in May 2009 when they played Innsbrook After Hours (Glen Allen, VA)- he didn't look good then IMO. He and everyone else were very friendly. Was following Richie's progress on Carepages.com with updates and photos by his wife. Saw Richie play with Warren Zevon at the Tower Theatre in Philly on one of Zevon's tours in the early 80s.. Also saw "Chicken Legs" play nat my college- they were an off-shoot of the Feat after Lowell died. I enjoyed his drumming.

I;m hot and cold on the acoustic Dead.....depends on my mood. But generally I like it. I'm enjoying this latest RT release. I think I'm going to break down and buy the Winterland 1977 box set from dead.net- I'm trying to get one with the bonus disc but they're going for $135.00 and up on Ebay. Wish I pulled the trigger back then.
