Enjoying the free MLB Extra Innings on Directv!! It's nice to watch the Phillies home broadcast on TV 17- like when I lived in South Jersey!

I bought the Herman another time they found extras- I like this set- although the CD case came cracked in the package- haven't opened it yet.

Directv had one about a month or so ago- pretty cool!

As a 5th starter for the Phillies- that may work. Also- didn't know Obama had that lame of an arm......crappy camera angle from Fox for the 1st pitch.

I'm rooting for Brandon Inge- since I saw him play at VCU many times (he was SS and RP) and my daughter graduated from VCU....

I'm happy for Wakefield as well. I love seeing the 1st year guys. I know the starting lineup is a popularity contest- but I don't believe every team should be represented- nor do I believe that the winner should get home field in the World Series.

He certainly defined the 80's...my 31 year old daughter is bummin'......she played Thriller 24/7- I never tired of hearing it.

I renewed- but was upset with dropping Fred and Ethel.....but happy to have Siriusly Sinatra. I mainly have it for MLB.

I wouldn't be offended if you guys took this to a chat room. Or- pick a place in the midwest that you both can fly relatively cheap and hang out and discuss- perhaps St. Louis and Chicago- and take in some games.

Looks like MLB Extra Innings is free this weekend on DirecTV.....I'm getting all sorts of games this evening. Baseball looks great in HD!!! We;ve had it for a few weeks now.

I recreated it from the suitcase- plus I have the Outtakes from these sessions, I believe.

I have a book called Songs By Sinatra where the author recreates the "lost" Sinatra Jobim album the way Reprise wanted it. I burned a CD of it- sounds pretty good.

I wish Nancy and Company would shake off the straitjacket and start issuing the Reprise albums as remastered discs with out-takes. My favorite Sinatra albums are the BOOTLEGS (ya hear that "Keepers of the Flame") with the false starts and alternative takes, comparing them to the final version is fun.

I have the Reprise "Suitcase" and I can burn a CD recreating the album from the songs in the Suitcase, if you wish. That'll tide you until you find yourself a copy. Send me a PM if interested.

I listened to parts on XM- it sounded forced and I don't believe the naive part....stupid? yes....they didn't mention the testosterone levels.......in my opinion, his actions were calculated. Didn't Conseco say that Rodriquez did steroids? Conseco hasn't been made into a liar yet.....we're the players there to make sure that he didn't speak the truth- like Michael Corleone did when he had the brother of a guy who was testifying to congress in the Godfather movie? I wish someone- anyone-would just speak the truth, without a script, without being coached. What was up with the dramatic pause?? I think that was fake. But I'm a cynic with all of this.

My daughter is diagnosed- so many people say to cut the sugar out of her diet....I just smile and say I'm working on it....

Thus the "and now for something completely different" sub heading. I can think of weirder threads than this. BTW- I've been using water/vinegar mix and saturating the wood- luckily we don't have a subfloor- the boards are nailed to the studs so I can access the underside of the wood floor beneath the house.
