I agree with you......I do enjoy the playoffs and there are guys in the NBA who I never heard of until they got to the NBA.

The winner in my cousin's pool in Philly had 175- give or take a few. There was about 80 people in it.

I'm the exact opposite, I love the NBA but could care less about college, though watching the NCAA would be very cool. I would imagine that UNC will get to go to Greensboro as a No. 1 seed. I can't afford NBA games and I agree the talent is remarkable- but I most enjoy watching upsets- especially the teams who play the power teams and beat them. I go to University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth games. They're not the ACC but good basketball. I went to Greensboro in 2005- met 2 Seton Hall fans who drove all night from Orange NJ to watch then get trounced by Wichita State- first game of the sessions- we bought them beers to drown their sorrows.....and meeting a couple of hundred Wichita State fans who drove 16 hours for their games.......and during the Duke Southern U game- watched Southern University's band whip the joint into a frenzy with their playing and high stepping, while Duke's band did the "we're not worthy" moves..... I love March Madness!

I'm all about the NCAA hoops and don't care about the NBA. UNC lost to BC- I guess they're not invincible! I'm going to the NCAA First/Second Round games in Greensboro NC- possibily the best sporting event I've ever been to!!

Nice job Conn and Van B! Good race! Regarding a playoff pool- I didn't see anything on CBS. I'll look on ESPN or Fox Sports. We could also have someone (CONN) be the pool-meister- everyone email picks to him and he keeps tracks of all the picks. Not that many games to keep track of. Keep the link to this pool- it will be available for next season. Next up is the NCAA Mens Basketball tournament!

My wife and I are shopping for a TV- my 1988 RCA 27 inch tube doesn't die- no matter what is done to it. Not sure what to get- it can't be more than 42 inches. Is that an LCD or Plasma?

Didn't see this one.... If you miss the Thursday games- you get losses for them, but you can still make picks for the Sunday games, provided you do it at least 1 hr before kickoff. If you miss the entire week- don't get any picks in- you'll end up one less than the lowest total for the week. Noj didn't make picks for the 7th week (marked by a "+") and the lowest score was 8 so he was credited for 7 wins.

Yeah, it's kind of new. Lots of Thursday games now. You can always go back and change them if it's at least 1 hr before games begin. I make mine right away then revisit if needed....sometime I can't but at least the picks are in.
