I went to the big HPB a couple of weeks ago for the first time in 14 months; they had absolutely no records of interest. The worst selection I've ever seen at that store. Josey Records is another story; much better. The CDC has backed off from the advice that objects are a high risk of transmission: "The primary and most important mode of transmission for COVID-19 is through close contact from person-to-person. Based on data from lab studies on COVID-19 and what we know about similar respiratory diseases, it may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this isn’t thought to be the main way the virus spreads."

No blue ray/dvd drive in the current iMac. I am starting to need a new car but my current car has a cd player; you can plug in an iPod; and burn cds to a harddrive. I hate to give that up.

The Apple SuperDrive is simply a plug-in CD drive since the drive is no longer standard equipment in Apple computers, presumably because most users view it as obsolete. Hence, as a user of non-current music storage devices, I get to pay extra. It may also play DVDs; I have not tried.
