Maybve you are the one who is not listening. You've been here two weeks and know what's good for all of us?
-
Maybe Jim should shut the doors for a few days and let things cool off. Is this board becoming a victim of its own success? Are we growing too much? Does everyone have cabin fever? I don't know. I just wish everyone could just let this drama go and give our wonderful host(s) a break here.

It was either this, or the Free America series this month. I went for the Free America discs. (I hope they all come in!). If this is still around in May, i'll pull the trigger.

I have the first two 45's on the list. I'd add 'Undercover Angel"

I just listened to this on the way in from work. I really really enjoyed it. I started out thinking it was kind of a stunt, but by the time the record was over, I was sold. er Sold Out rather! In fact, I think that Petra Haden is the perfect woman for me. (don't tell my wife.) When I was a teen, I was a rabid Who fan. They were my band. Any woman who would take the time to lovingly re-record The Who Sell Out part by part with her voice has to be something special. Hey, her dad is pretty cool too! Wow. Seriously, this record is a lot of fun.

Once Jim updates the board software tonight, people can start using the ignore function. Maybe that will bring Hans and deus62 back.

Hey Big Wheel. What format are the Mingus files on easytree? Are they MP3s or MP3 sourced?

Nothing does a better of job of bringing everyone together than cute pictures of our children! (Well, maybe everyone but Lon ) Here are a couple of nice pictures taken by a friend this past weekend at my Son Ben's 1st Birthday party. Ben Mason

You can configure any encoder you wish!

I use Foobar2000. It is perfect for going from FLAC to MP3. Foobar2000 Special Installer Make sure you download the Special Version because it includes the tool you need (foo_clienc.dll) to transcode from FLAC to MP3 or anything format you like. I don't have the time to write out a full FAQ, but these screen shots should help.

Have you seen a copy of the original LP? They do look like this. Not this.
