I got this in the mail today, and I see that it was recorded this past May 27-29. I can't remember the last time I've seen an album released so soon after it was recorded. It reminds me of 1964 when Beatles albums were released just a few weeks after they were done.

His passion is heard too, spurred by the spirited play of the BJO, no stranger to Lovano (who led numerous workshops with the Orchestra's personnel over the years), and certainly no stranger to exceptional projects. In 2012 it earned an Academy Award for Best Original Film Score on behalf of "The Artist." Led by saxophonist Frank Vaganee, the BJO is one of Europe's strongest and most respected jazz aggregates. I took the trial two-month Prime membership for Christmas, 2011. I did it again for Christmas, 2012, and this time when it expired I signed up for the year's membership. I can't think of a time when I needed something in two days. But there have been a couple of times when I ordered from a Marketplace Seller and the item never arrived, so they had to send another one. Such an experience takes weeks to be resolved. So Prime's service makes me comfortable because I will know promptly if there is a delivery problem.
