Top 20 Party Schools, Sober Schools
GA Russell replied to GA Russell's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
If "party school" means alcohol consumption, I can understand Tulane's being there. But in Louisiana, the reputation belongs to the Univ. of Louisiana - Lafayette. I'm surprised that Georgetown isn't on the list somewhere. -

British Columbia Lions 27....Winnipeg Blue Bombers 20 http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfl/news/news.aspx?id=4614265 http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=429228 Great first half, with the Lions leading 17-16 at halftime. The Bomber offense didn't look as good in the second half. Maybe the Lions aren't as good as I thought. I thought they would win tonight easily.

About 1969 RCA Victor introduced a vinyl which as I recall was called Dynaflex. You could bend it in two without breaking the record. Does anyone remember how it sounded? In the mid-sixties, Verve and Impulse! releases cost a dollar more because their vinyl was better, supposedly. Does anyone recall if that was true?

Hamilton Tiger-Cats 30....Edmonton Eskimos 29 http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/tsnform.aspx?c=sportsnetwork&page=cfl/news/news.aspx?id=4613794 http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=429017 I went to bed early last night, and missed this one. It looks like it was a great one. ***** You will recall that Ticats draft pick Lyndon Gaydosh signed instead with the Carolina Panthers. Yesterday the Panthers put him on Injured Reserve with a herniated disk. He could be out all season, and remain Carolina property. http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=429023 ***** The players union is appealling the arbitrator's decision that Chris Williams must abide by his contract with the Ticats. http://www.tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=428914
