He also was very proud to state that the members of the band had hired a financial advisor, lived modestly, and as a result they were "set for life". He said that this was not the case with Jefferson Airplane, whose members blew their money and were broke. The LA Times today reports that the bass player of Iron Butterfly, Lee Dorman, has died.
