Various Artists - The Story of Bossa Nova This is a Brazilian compilation EMI put out in 2000 on the Odeon label there and on the Hemisphere label here. Some tracks are from the sixties, and some are new. I haven't figured out which yet. A few famous names, like Joao Donato, Walter Wanderley and Marcos Valle, but mostly people I'm not familiar with.

I agree, Ron. I have maintained a long list of items in my BMG cart, for a rainy day. Some items which remain there have since been deleted, such as Horace Silver's Song For My Father. The deletions occurred without warning. So I agree that putting everything of interest in one's YourMusic queue is the way to go.

Talk about fast service! My order arrived yestserday afternoon, two days after it was shipped. The bad news is that every jewel case is damaged, some worse than others. But I don't worry about that; I have a box of jewel cases from BJ's. Right now I'm listening to Soft Machine Third, which I haven't heard in a long while. Great music!
