He deserves it. I was really hoping the braves would sign him, but he was a leftie(Of course so is Garrett Anderson) and too expensive. And I think people in the organization thought he was too old. Well, Frenchy is 25, but I would sure take old over young in this case. Heres a telling fact to how completely useless the braves outfield is right now. Jeff Francoeur hit a homer May 1st. Anderson hit one May 31st(His first of the year) Guess how many homers were hit in between those days???? 0 0?? That's brutal. Yeah, I was on the fence about the Ibanez signing. Love his bat and hustle, but wondering how he will hold up at 36(and 37 and 38). So far he has been amazing. Don't take it too bad though - you guys got a steal in Lowe. Phillies F'd up BIG TIME by not signing him. He would have been a great fit for the Bank.

I just turned off the Women's Quarterfinal match between Sharapova and Cibulkova. While Maria is still looking good she's got a lot of work to do before she regains her old playing form. A lot of unforced errors and double faults.

Thanks. Yes, one of the few that really lives up to the hype. I prolly paid a little bit more than I should have but I'm happy w/ it and that's all that matters. Hopefully my kid won't need braces .... I almost had a heart attack though when I was playing it for the first time. I was at work and I couldn't wait to take it home so I went over to the music library and played it on one of their decks. Unfortunately, somebody had messed with the anti-skate setting and the needle went riiiiiiiiiiiiight across the the first side. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Thankfully it didn't do any audible/visual damage.

However, noise and vibrations from recent construction projects at the Library's Madison Building have made it nearly impossible to record analog discs at preservation quality, so this digital-preservation project may have to wait until a state-of-the-art digital preservation laboratory opens at the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center in Culpeper, Va., sometime next year.
