Baugh was known to make blunt, witty remarks. After the Redskins' 73-0 loss to the Chicago Bears in the 1940 championship, a writer asked if the outcome would have been different had an end not dropped an early touchdown pass. "Yeah," drawled Baugh. "It would have been 73-7." http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/footbal...0,3582613.story

I wouldn't put it past them to break the bank and go all-out for Teixeira. It would prove them to be hypocrites and liars but that's their M.O. anyway. But I suspect that Hank is referring to making choices between Pettitte/Sheets and possibly Lowe. Hank is already on the record saying that they would go after Sabathia, Burnett, and Lowe. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3703112 I think they'll go after(and get) Lowe and Teixeira.

Sixers went and fired Mo Cheeks today. He just got a big contract extension after making it to the playoffs last Spring. Scapegoat.

Those seem to be prices for downloads, but I'll gladly stand being corrected on that if I'm wrong cause there's some titles I'm in the market for right now. I think those are the prices for CDs. Add them to your cart and go to checkout. If you want to download them click on the Emusic link. It looks like they have stopped selling LPs.

Hmm. The honourable master Michel with a link to an article the thread started. Master Michel wise and faitfhul is, he warned us. The author of the article clearly to the dark side of the force converted he was. Digital is the path to the dark side. Digital leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering. With the cd you start, then an iPod and the downloading and at the end yourself you will lose. Pulverize planets and records stores you will do. If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny. The followers of the dark side everywhere are, even in the vinyl forum they are. The dark side clouds everything. Impossible to see the future is. That just might be the post of the year right there.

Did anyone see this show last night?? YUSEF LATEEF ROSCOE MITCHELL DOUGLAS EWART ADAM RUDOLPH Walker Art Center McGuire Theater Minneapolis, MN -
HOLY CRAP!!! WHAT HAPPENED TONIGHT IN DETROIT???? I turned the game off about midway through the 3rd with the Sixers down by 12 or 13. I figured that they had been down the whole game and playing the 2nd night of a back to back, on the road, w/out Elton Brand... Well you do the math. Both teams were playing pretty poorly tonight. Iverson just isn't meshing w/ the rest of those guys.

15+ years and he has to serve at least 6 years before he becomes eligible for parole. No bail while he appeals. -
Man, I was all set to go on a rant about the Sixers' and then I found this inspiring story on Wayman Tisdale. Kind of puts everything in its proper perspective. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/stor...mp;lid=tab2pos2

I've tried the simultaneous clicking maneuver on about 10 different computers here at work that have Firefox 3.0 installed. It doesn't work. So, I'm thinking you need to change a setting within the Logitech software. *Edit to say that our computers use the standard Dell mouse
