  3. New issue of Paris Transatlantic up here. Interviewed: Evan Parker Reviews by yours truly: Bill Dixon, Chicago Underground Duo, Charlie Nothing, Melee, etc. And some fine reviews of Gebhard Ullmann, Lucky 7's, and things far from the jazzical realm.
  4. I don't know why, but I never think of that when I listen to Max. Though his compositional style kind of tires me out for whatever reason.
  5. Really need to get a replacement for my conked burner b/f the BFT assignment is due!
  6. I've got a ratty copy of this as well that I had to pry out of a self-professed Rolling Stones completist.
  7. Aargh - I have it on LP but currently no easy means to transfer it. When are you wanting to do the show?

  10. Charlie Mariano - & The Chris Hinze Combination - (Intercord)
  11. My head just exploded.
  12. I don't know, but the year would have been '64/'65. There was no NYAQ after that as Tchicai returned to Copenhagen.
  13. I read/heard somewhere that Ayler sat in with the NYAQ a few times. Pretty sweet story!
  14. TT with a built-in preamp, I would go to the Audio forum. I don't know the answer. Six bones is about right for that Bley. Nice date. Happy hunting!
  15. I mean, I know bari players go low, but not that low.
  16. I prefer Sade in PowerPoint. Although most music does pretty well in Word.
  17. I write for AAJ but avoid the forums like the plague.
  18. I am happy to sell the remainder of the top section for $15 p/p. Jazzbo's getting the cheapies, I think.
  19. That record IS really good!
  20. Updated - those sold should be on their way shortly.
