  1. poltergeist?
  2. Yusef Lateef 'The Golden Flute' (Impulse orange/black, stereo)
  3. Must be Daniel Humair then..
  4. That one and the 'Togo Brava Suite' nearly made my cut. A tough choice. I wonder if HRH stores the master next to her Mobley and Braxton Mosaics?
  5. Gabor Szabo 'More Sorcery' (Impulse red/black, stereo)
  6. Oliver Nelson 'Blues & The Abstract Truth' (UK Impulse 70s black label, stereo)
  7. Homer Marge Krusty
  8. Robin Day Batman Al Kooper
  9. Afro Bossa Far East Suite Ellington at Newport And His Mother Called Him Bill Concert In The Virgin Islands
  10. Paul Raymond Debbie Raymond Peter Stringfellow
  11. How about that Helen Merrill 'Mixes'? One LP with Merrill and band (early 70s vintage), the other LP full of early bop sides (Getz, Dave Lambert etc).
  12. Good reminder - time to dig out the 'Insight' CBS LP. Nice playing from David Snell on this one too - 'the Casper Reardon of British modern jazz?'
  13. Shirley Bassey Cerys Matthews Max Boyce
  14. You won't have any problems with the sound of the Turrentine - it is fine !
  15. Big fan of Mr Priester here - never heard a bad note from him. Fortunate enough once to hear him live in Alberta when he made the short flight up from Seattle. Wonder when ECM will finally get round to reissuing 'Polarization'?
  16. Arthur Haley George Hailey Hayley Mills
  17. It was a BBC Radio 1 'featured single' back in 1976, believe it or not. Almost made TOTP ! I even still have the 45rpm single somewhere.
  18. Gary Oldman Smiley Smiley Culture
  19. Sneeked that one in before the devaluation of the Swiss zlotty then ! Maybe some of us can now go skiing next year..
  20. It's damned good - certainly good enough for me to also snap up a Japanese reissue vinyl as well, when I came across it. $39 is a bit steep though !
  21. That 'Collectors Disk' bonus CD was the last one I picked up - about $10. Yusef Lateef's 'Before Dawn' seems to remain elusive (picked it up shortly after it came out and it disappeared faster than a Gadaffi- in-hiding).
  22. Mr Crapper Mr Shanks Bill Shankley
  23. Well, the Japanese have already issued that one so there is hope. Give it 50 years (2018?) and if it has not come out by then maybe I will do my own issue.
  24. BGO (along with Vocalion) are an absolute Godsend on the Brit jazz reissue front. Maybe they can also get hold of 'Hum Dono' and 'Springboard'?
  25. Joni Mitchell KD Lang Allanah Myles
