  1. A classy guy all round. Well earned !
  2. You mean the moth-balled Tiger Moth? For UK UFOs, this metropolis is ground zero - UFO Warminster
  3. F.M. Busby Busby Birdwell Busby Berkeley Stanley Dance Lucille Ball Cinderella Alladin Dick Whittington Widow Twanky
  4. I agree with Bill - June often turns out pretty good, weatherwise - as it did this year. Today was pretty nice down here - classic English Summer's day. Next Summer is also the Olympics 2012 of course so London and other key event venues are going to be manic.
  5. Kaspar Hauser Casper of Wyoming Casper Reardon
  6. That's the only Patton vinyl I'm missing - and going by the comments here it will probably stay that way (unless I luck out with a fluke find - zippo chance). Looks like the most reliable listening option on that session would be the Mosaic Select.
  7. Chuckle Brothers Jedward Bros
  8. I sat through a double bill of these guys and Supersilent at Bath several years ago and my ears haven't been the same since.
  9. Jeez - has it come to this?
  10. Happy Birthday ! (can't keep up with all these birthdays )
  11. As with the 'Bitches Brew' set it's a great package and a fitting tribute to this session. Miles-o-philiacs with turntables are going to want it but I don't think that $70 is that outstanding a deal. I picked it up for £35 in a HMV high street sale a few years ago.
  12. Lance Percival Ruskin Spear Dave Pike Pike Mrs Pike John Le Mesurier
  13. Awwesome ! You're in for a treat. I think mine was about 20 Euro from '2001'. Hard to beat at that price !
  14. Very sad to hear, if confirmed. RIP - certainly a TV icon for some of us here when we were growing up.
  15. Good karma being beamed in from across the pond.
  16. I was hoping that they'd get round to offering the 'trumpet case' again as they'd messed things up first time round. Grrr !
  17. This news has made my day - well done, Brownie. And long live Mr Sheldon. Was that the 'Chet impersonating in bed' story?
  18. Thanks. Hopefully in stock at my local HMV outlet tomorrow (while it's still standing, that is..)
  19. Damn, sorry to hear this. A fine player and a great all-round entertainer. Glad I got chance to see him play, appreciate his quick wit and also hear his reminiscences of the LA 'scene'. RIP and thanks, Mr Sheldon. By way of immediate tribute, this one is going on deck -
  20. Jennie Agutter Jennie Jerome Jerome K. Jerome
  21. CCS Harold McNair Donovan
  22. Hope it's a good one.
